Historical data (Jan 2023 – Aug 2026) is drawn directly from the WORLDS Booking & Technical Database (Airtable). A venue is counted as active in a given month if it has at least one confirmed show date falling within that month. Giant screen cinemas and flat-screen theatres are excluded throughout; only Digital Fulldome planetariums and 360° theatres are included. Venues with a booking status of "Not Suitable", "Decided to Pass", or "Show Completed" are excluded from all counts.
Sept – Dec 2026 active figures (45, 55, 60, 68) are management estimates based on confirmed venue conversations and pipeline knowledge, not yet reflected in the bookings database.
Total network is the sum of active and dormant venues each month — the full pool of eligible venues that have hosted at least one confirmed show in the WORLDS network to date. It grows monotonically as new venues are onboarded and never shrinks when venues go dormant.
Conservative 2027 active projection applies the average annual absolute increment observed across 2023–2026 (+12.4 venues/year) to each corresponding 2026 month. Conservative 2027 total network projection applies the equivalent total network average increment (+26.8 venues/year) to each corresponding 2026 total.
Optimistic 2027 active projection applies the average year-on-year growth ratio observed across 2023–2026 (×1.55, i.e. 55% YoY growth) to each corresponding 2026 active figure. Optimistic 2027 total network projection applies the equivalent network growth ratio (×1.75, i.e. 75% YoY growth) to each corresponding 2026 total. Note the higher network ratio is partly driven by the rapid onboarding period of 2023–2024; more recent years (2025–2026) show a moderating rate of approximately ×1.40.
